Limited Space: Options For Using Artificial Christmas Wreaths and Garlands
Christmas For the FamilyThe Versatility of Artificial Christmas Wreaths: Making the Most of Limited Space
If your home is small, you may be thinking that when Christmas rolls around, all you can do is to put a small tree, much similar to what you would have seen in the Charlie Brown Christmas Special, on a table and call it quits. In reality, there are tons of ways that you can decorate your home that may be limited in space using artificial Christmas wreaths and garlands, as well as other ideas to make your small home come to life with Christmas cheer.
Garlands: The Perfect Alternative to Traditional Christmas Trees for Small Spaces
While you may not have stairs in your home or numerous doors to the outside world, that doesn’t mean that you have to give up the idea of using artificial Christmas wreaths and garlands!
Here are some great ideas for using these in smaller spaces:
- Use wreaths to help make a centerpiece on your dining room table. If you do not have a dining room table, why not make small centerpieces on end tables or the like to add Christmas spirit into the room.
- Garland can easily be hung around mirrors in a bathroom with some lights and bows to make this room come to life with Christmas cheer.
- Use a wreath on the outside of your door…just make sure that you use a wreath that has been approved to be used outside. When you are hanging any type of artificial Christmas wreaths and garlands outdoors, they need to be approved for outdoor use in order to avoid these becoming damaged and not being able to use them again.
- If you have an apartment that has a balcony, you can still use artificial Christmas wreaths and garlands in your decor. Hang a wreath on the balcony doors, then use garland and drape this around the balcony. It is a simple way to show some Christmas decor without doing a lot of work in order to achieve success.
- Remember that the walls in your home that have limited space are always something that you can use to hang wreaths on. While it may not be traditional, it can be a great way to light up a room.
- If you are limited on just where to put a tree, there are tons of people who are taking garland and draping this into a tree shape while attaching this to the wall. They even go so far as to place ornaments on this garland. It can be a great way to save space when you have limited floor space, and even better for those who have pets that may want to climb a traditional tree.
Remember, just because there are those who say you only use artificial Christmas wreaths and garlands in one way doesn’t make it true. There are tons of ways that you can use these items to create the look of Christmas in your home…even if you are limited on the space that is inside your home. Think outside the box and just have fun with it!
